Quantum & Transformational Arts for Healing

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Amit Goswami, author of The Self-Aware Universe and Quantum Creativity

Deepen your understanding of Consciousness and The Arts through this transformational retreat on the sacred grounds of the Ananda Meditation Retreat campus in Nevada City, CA.  The week-long program includes daily classes, workshops, yoga & meditation sadhanas, and evening entertainment.  Instructors include:

Dr. Amit Goswami, Theoretical Quantum Physicist is a revolutionary amongst a growing body of renegade scientists who, in recent years, has ventured into the domain of the spiritual in an attempt both to interpret the seemingly inexplicable findings of curious experiments and to validate intuitions about the existence of a spiritual dimension of life. A prolific writer, teacher, and visionary, Dr. Goswami has appeared in the movies, What the Bleep Do We Know?, The Dalai Lama Renaissance, as well as the award winning documentary, The Quantum Activist.

Dr. Uma Krishnamurthy, a psychiatrist by training from India with many years of experience in the field of healing and Yoga Psychology.  She is the author of an upcoming book on Yoga Psychology.  She has been traveling around the world for the past ten years leading workshops and spiritual retreats on Yoga Psychology and Yoga Therapy. She  has also received formal training in classical Indian dance in the Bharatanyam tradition.  

Rebecca Davis, Ph.D., award-winning short story author, has taught literature, writing and interdisciplinary studies at the University of Washington, Antioch University and Ananda College.  For the past 15 years, she has taught fiction and personal essay writing workshops as well as basic and advanced composition courses at major universities.  Before turning to teaching and scholarly writing, she  worked for many years as a ghost writer, journalist and editor.

Nefretete Rasheed, Ph.D.,  Educator and Psychotherapist has worked clinically and in practice for many years.  Dr. Rasheed has a rich and varied background in Theater and the arts and has won a number of awards for her creative work.  She has conducted workshops worldwide promoting the arts as a healing and educational tool and has taught at a number of universities including Rutgers and NY State University.
